President Rouhani stresses full preparedness of armed forces

President Hassan Rouhani underlined the full preparedness of the Iranian Armed Forces to confront any possible attacks by the enemies.

“The military prowess and high deterrence power of our Armed Forces do not allow the enemy to even think of attacking Iran,” President Rouhani said, addressing commanders of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy in the southern port city of Bandar Abbas.

President Rouhani pointed to the need for preparedness of the Armed Forces to carry out their duties, and said, “The first outcome of these preparenesses should be deterrence against the enemy and it should be in a way as to enable them to find out about our military and defense capabilities.”

Durign the meeting, IRGC Navy Commander Ali Fadavi submitted a report about the achievements, capabilities, performance and missions of his force to President Rouhani and also a report about the 8th naval drills of the Great Prophet Mohammad to him.
