Prominent ISIL Commanders Sent to Hell in Iraq Airstrikes
Prominent commanders in the ranks of the Takfir group, ISIL (so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Levant) were killed in nine wide-scale operations in Iraq.
Top Iraqi officer, Lieutenant General Abdel Amir al-Zaidi, told Arabic-language al-Sumaria satellite television network that the Iraqi and the US-led coalition aircraft carried out several airstrikes on ISIL’s strongholds in the northwestern province of Salahudin.
The operations were carried during the last two weeks and were based on accurate intelligence information which contributed to “major achievements,” al-Zaidi said according to al-Sumaria.
Two High-ranking commanders were among the ISIL militants killed in the raids the Iraqi officer said.
