Prominent Syrian Army general arrives in Golan Heights

The prominent Syrian Arab Army officer, Major General Issam Zahreddine of the 104th Airborne of the Republican Guard, arrived in the predominately Druze village of Hader on Saturday to inspect the defenses in the area.

Major General Zahreddine was escorted to Hader by his bodyguards and several soldiers from the 104th Airborne Brigade; they will be departing from the Golan Heights shortly.
