Protesters march in Sacramento over police shooting of unarmed black man

US protesters have marched through the streets of California’s capital city Sacramento over the fatal shooting of an unarmed black man by police.

Two officers fatally shot Stephon Clark, 22, in the backyard of his grandmother’s house following a foot pursuit. The killing has provoked widespread outcry following a series of similar police abuses against African Americans throughout the US in recent years.
