Palestinian Youths Write Letters to Iranians, Thank for Support

The Palestinian youths in the Gaza Strip appreciated the Iranian government and nation for supporting them against Israel during the ongoing aggressions on Gaza.

In a letter to the Iranian government and nation, Fatemeh Al-Zoq, a Palestinian youth who had formerly been imprisoned in Israel, thanked Iran’s practical support for her nation, and said Palestinians do not need words and statements in condemnation of Israel. “Rather, we need real support for Gaza and its people against an oppressor who feels no mercy for innocent people.”

Also, another Palestinian youth said in his letter, “To my brothers in the Islamic Republic of Iran, I am Naji Abu Seif, a 17-year-old who is writing to you while surrounded by bombs and explosions.”

“In these moments that I am writing this letter, my neighborhood is being bombed by Israeli fighter jets, but we continue our firm resistance and we are proud of it,” he said.

“We do not expect anything from Arab rulers. We want nothing from them. Our trust and resistance is only and only for the Islamic Republic of Iran,” it added.

“We see Iran as the single supporter of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance,” the letter continued.

“To all those who supported the Muslim Ummah, we love you,” he said, addressing the Iranian people.

Over 115 Palestinians have been killed and more than 900 others injured in the new wave of Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since Wednesday.

Israel triggered the new round of its assaults against Gazans by assassinating the military chief of the ruling Hamas group on Wednesday followed by dozens of airstrikes on Gaza.

In response, the Palestinian groups have fired more than 1,200 missiles and rockets at Israel. Several Israelis have been killed and about 100 others wounded since Israel initiated the attacks.

Palestinian resistance groups targeted a settlement near Jerusalem for the first time Friday, launching a rocket attack in a major escalation of hostilities as Israel pressed forward with relentless airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
