Iran introduces Mobin drone at MAKS 2019 air show in Russia
Iran has introduced one of the latest models of its home-made unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) at the international MAKS 2019 air show in the Russian city of Zhukovsky.
The three-meter-long drone, named Mobin, weighs 670kg and is capable of to carrying equipment and arms of up to 120kg.
The radar-evading UAV can fly at an altitude of 45,000ft for 45 minutes at a speed of 900km/h.
The domestically-manufactured drone has a low radar cross section (RCS).
MAKS 2019 opened on Tuesday in Zhukovsky with speeches by Russian President Vladimir Putin and his visiting Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
More than 600 Russian companies and over 180 foreign firms, including those from Iran, are showcasing their latest aerospace and aerial achievements at the exhibition, which will last until September 1.
