IRI urges regional coop against narcotics

mottakiForeign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said the Islamic Republic of Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan should cooperate to fight against drug trafficking.

While visiting the border city of Taibad, Khorasan Razavi province, he said the countries have not received proper international help for encountering the problem.

Over the border trade exchanges between IRI and Afghanistan, Mottaki said some agents are causing disrupt in the relations between the two countries adding illegal entrances to the countries was another problem which should be solved via holding joint commission and consulate meetings.

He added Tehran and Kabul could coordinate to issue a multi travel visa for the businessmen who travel to the countries stressing that the measure would certainly facilitate bilateral trade relations.
