Iraq’s defense ministry confirmed that the Iraqi fighter jets launched massive operations against positions of the ISIL Takfiri terrorist group in the nearby areas of Ramadi, in Anbar province, which resulted in the killing of tens of fighters.

“The Iraqi airstrikes against hideouts of the ISIL militants in the surrounding areas of Hasiba and the outskirts of al-Khalediya City and Ramadi, killed and wounded a large number of the terrorists, and destroyed a large store of thier booby-trapped vehicles,” the ministry said.

The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently control shrinking swathes of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Ezadi Kurds and others, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.

Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.

The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.
