The next goal for Syrian Army is Homs not Aleppo: unexpected for “Free Army”

The Lebanese newspaper al-Safer says that “Syrian Arab Army has succeeded again in using an old trick to confuse the armed militias about their next target, especially when Syrian army launched an organized attack on the neighborhoods that were under the control of the armed men in Homs city.”

The newspaper says that “after few days of al-Qusair battle, the analysts started to talk about the ‘North Storm’ battle, in which they claimed to be launched by Syrian Army on locations of the armed militias in Aleppo where some journalists reported alleged declarations attributed to officers of the Syrian Army saying that units of Syrian army have started to gear up for the strategic battle of Aleppo. All of that was done although Syrian Army is well known of not declaring its operations or documenting any details or data.”

The armed militias and the regional powers have mobilized to the «defense of Aleppo», as the Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has also appeared to draw a new «red line», but this time on Aleppo.

At the same time,the leadership of the staff of the Syrian Arab Army was completing the required «Data» to launch an attack on the positions of the militias in Hums Al-Qadimah (Ancient Homs). ”

The newspaper concludes that “the next goal for Syrian Army is not Aleppo, it is Homs.”
