Hezbollah Congratulates Labors on Their Day

The Central Unit of Unions and Labors of Hezbollah congratulated Monday the “workers of Lebanon and the Arab and Muslim worlds, as well as the workers of oppressed peoples on Labor Day”.

“The work was and will be always the title of dignity, progress and prosperity, where the worker will remain the pioneer of those who sacrifice on the path of building a free, decent and honest life,” Hezbollah said in a statement addressing labors on their day.

The central Unit also saluted the worker “for working to build a strong and capable nation to face all the challenges and turns to be a fortified country”.

However, the statement called upon the Lebanese cabinet to respond to the laborers’ demands.

“We stand by laborers’ right to a decent life and call for responding to their affairs. It is time that the cabinet realizes that it cannot continue to ignore the laborers’ demands,” the party said in the statement.

It also called on the cabinet to resolve the social and economic “crises” that workers suffered from.

“Any achievement in this way is for the nation as a whole which represents the hope for every citizen living the economic crisis,” the statement concluded.
