Saudi spy drones face rough skies near Yemen as another targeted

Yemeni army forces, supported by allied fighters from Popular Committees, have intercepted and targeted an unmanned aerial vehicle belonging to the Saudi-led military coalition as it was flying in the skies over the kingdom’s southern border region of Jizan.

The spokesman for Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said the Yemeni fighters shot down the drone on Friday afternoon, Arabic-language al-Masirah television network reported.

The drone was targeted three days after an unnamed source in the Yemeni air defense forces told the media bureau of the Houthi Ansarullah movement that Yemeni fighters had shot down a drone as it was on a reconnaissance mission over al-Kasarah area of Najran.
