Sayyed Nasrallah Congratulates Iran’s President-elect Raisi: Resistance Fighters See You as Impenetrable Fortress

Hezbollah Secretary General sent a congratulatory cable to the Iranian President-elect Ebrahim Raisi, felicitating him on achieving a major victory and gaining the trust of the great people of Iran to lead them during this fateful stage of the national and regional history.

“Your victory revived the hopes of the Iranians and the regional peoples for the future and the ability to face challenges as well as difficulties and overcome them through your revolutionary presidency and sincere efforts under the leadership as well as wise and inspiring guidance of Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei,” the cable of Sayyed Nasrallah to President-elect Raisi read.

Sayyed Nasrallah added, “Mr. President, you have always been assisting the oppressed, the tortured and the vulnerable and supporting the resistance fighters as well as the axis of resistance throughout all your stages in office and struggle.”

“The resistance and the free people look up to you and see you as a fortress and a strong support to them through your confrontation and resistance against the aggressors.”

Finally, Sayyed Nasrallah expressed hopes that Holy God protects President-elect Raisi, helps his eminence to assume the heavy responsibility and enables him to gain victory and reach all aspirations.

Raisi was announced on Saturday as the winner of the June 18 presidential election in Iran, scoring 17,926,345 of votes. Raisi obtained 17,926,345 votes out of the total 28,933,004 ballots, being elected as the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Shortly after the early results were out, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei urged the president-elect and those elected as village and city councilors in Friday’s nationwide elections to take the chance to serve the Iranian nation.

In a message, published as the results of Friday elections were out, Ayatollah Khamenei also hailed the massive turnout of people.
