Sayyed Nasrallah Congratulates Islamic Jihad’s Nakhala: The Battle Is One

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah congratulated Ziad Nakhala for being elected as the new chief of Palestinian resistance group, Islamic Jihad.

In a phone call, Sayyed Nasrallah congratulated Nakhala, Hezbollah’s Media Relations said in a statement late Friday, adding that the two leader discussed latest developments in the region.

Meanwhile, Palestine Today news agency reported that Nakhala told Sayyed Nasrallah that the battle against Zio-American scheme in Palestine and the region is one battle.

Earlier on Friday, the Islamic Jihad announced it had named Nakhala as the movement’s new secretary-general, formally replacing former head Ramadan Abdallah Shallah, who has been suffering from serious health condition for months.

The movement also elected a new politburo.
