Sayyid al-Hakim: Fighting Against ISIS is a Victory for Hussain (AS), His Project and His Course

Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council in Iraq, confirmed that fighting against ISIS is a victory for Hussain (AS) is a victory for Hussain (AS), his course and project, for ISIS represents that deviant course against which Hussain revolted, indicating that the fight against corruption and corrupters and the service of citizens is a victory for citizens everywhere.
This came during his participation with the citizens of Al Kut in the procession towards Karbala’ to perform the Arba’een visit on Sunday, December 7, 2014.
His eminence explained that the crowds of millions of Iraqis and foreign visitors reflect the commitment to the values of Hussain and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon them) and his household, adding that this is also a good example of sacrifice for the people to live in a modern fair State. His eminence pointed out that this march of millions of people is an expression of authentic Mohammedan Islam, highlighting that Hussain was born on the day he was killed thanks to his thought, course and values. His eminence finally renewed allegiance to Hussain and expressed loyalty to him, highlighting the adherence to this course and project and assuring that we will remain Hussainis for as long as we live.
