In recent developments, Israeli airstrikes targeted the vicinity of the Osama Bin Zaid School in the al-Saftawi neighborhood, located north of Gaza City. The attack claimed the lives of four young men and left multiple individuals injured, according to local reports.
Reports indicate that Israeli military actions have persisted, with further airstrikes reported in the al-Sabra neighborhood and drone operations targeting civilians near the entrance of the al-Bureij refugee camp as they awaited food assistance. Numerous individuals suffered critical injuries due to live fire directed at beleaguered residents in central Gaza, resulting in a significant influx of casualties at al-Awda Hospital.
At present, four individuals have been confirmed deceased, and around 90 others are receiving medical attention following the attacks on those seeking assistance along the Salah al-Din Road.
Conditions in the al-Nuseirat refugee camp have deteriorated further after two additional fatalities were reported, alongside multiple injuries, in airstrikes conducted near the Fayad roundabout.
Israeli drone strikes targeted displaced Palestinians on a nearby street, leading to the recovery of three more individuals from the debris.
In the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli aircraft targeted a tent sheltering displaced civilians in the al-Mawasi region, as military vehicles engaged in firing upon individuals in the Batn al-Samin area, further escalating the number of casualties.
**UN Warns of Escalating Famine Risks in Gaza**
The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) has issued a warning that the threat of famine in the Gaza Strip continues to be critically high due to persisting limitations on the delivery of humanitarian assistance.
The World Food Program (WFP) reported that since May 19, it has managed to deliver only a limited amount of essential aid into Gaza. Since the resumption of aid deliveries, only 700 trucks have crossed into the territory, a stark contrast to the 600 to 700 trucks that entered daily prior to the recent escalation in hostilities.
