Ahmadian who was also the CEO of Nuclear Power Production and Development Company of Iran (NPPD) was hospitalized in Jamaran hospital in Northern Tehran for a while after heart surgery.
He passed away in the hospital on Thursday due to unsuccessful treatment after heart surgery.
AEOI Head Ali Akbar Salehi, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyed Abbas Mousavi and several other officials extended their condolences to Ahmadian’s family over his demise.
