Iran Senior cleric calls on govt. to practice national unity, amity

Tehran’s provisional Friday prayers leader Hojjatoleslam Aboutorabifard urged the government to take effective measures for spread of unity and amity among all noble people of the country.

He pointed to the high potential and capacity of the government and said, “executive branch of the country should pave suitable ways for building consensus on the sublime goals of the Islamic Revolution.”

A society without a political system cannot attain prosperity, he said, adding, “human being must practice steadfast principles and have patience and perseverance in obedience.”

He pointed to the individual patience and said, “individual patience is essential for the growth and development but it is not enough.”

The collective patience is needed to create a healthy society, achieve a dynamic and generative economy and maintain accurate social relationship, he said, adding, “accordingly, we have to practice patience and compensate the shortcomings.”

The link between the political movements, that believe in the Establishment, will pave the way for its sovereignty, the Friday prayers leader emphasized.

“To get rid of economic bottlenecks and social problems, we have no choice but to choose scientific path and create political, social and scientific elite’s consensus, he said, adding, “attaining this consensus based on the principles of the Islamic Revolution should be the main concern of government officials, so that sublime status of leadership has always been the pivot of this unity, amity and consensus.”

If the general policies notified by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution is turned into a roadmap for the three branches of government and responsible organizations, it can pave suitable ground for harmonious movement in the country, Aboutorabifard stressed.

In conclusion, interim Friday Prayers Leader Aboutorabifard said, “I believe that government is able to pave suitable ways for the national consensus, unity and amity among all walks of life but it needs accurate and precise planning meticulously.”
