Sheikh Al-Bouti Hails Sacrifices of Syrian Army in Battle against Terrorists

Chairman of the Levant Scholars’ Union, Dr. Mohammad Said Ramadan al-Bouti said that the all-out invasion targeting Syria necessitates general mobilization.

In his Friday sermon, al-Bouti hailed the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab army, and called on all citizens to stand by the army in the face of the mercenary terrorists.

”We are invaded in every inch of our land, in our bread, in our lives, women, children sanctities and honor, ” he said.

”Part of the Muslim nation came on the side of the evil, ” al-Bouti said, adding that ”they are amassing money and weapons to fight with the evil.”

Mosque Preachers, Imams Call on Citizens to Stand United by Army

Mosque preachers and imams called on citizens to stand united by the Syrian army in his battle against the mercenaries and terrorists.

In their Friday sermons, the imams stressed that Syria is facing a conspiracy backed by the powers of extremism which is stoked by biased media outlets.

They urged the Arab League, the UN, and the human rights organizations to shoulder their responsibilities regarding the events in Syria, condemning the acts of sabotage and terrorism perpetrated by armed terrorist groups backed by the enemies of Syria.

The imams said that ”The Syrian Muslim scholars stand united against the conspiracy, and are bent to stick to their moderate outlook that characterizes the Levant,” denouncing the extremism of the terrorist organizations such as Jabhat al-Nusra.
