Sheikh Qaouk: “Israel”, March 14 Meet on Syrian Crisis

Hizbullah Deputy Executive Council Chief, His Eminence Sheikh Nabil Qaouk, stressed that “there is convergence of views between “Israel” and March 14 forces regarding their bet on both the Syrian crisis and the parliamentary elections to seize power and siege the resistance.”

According to Qaouk, “they [March 14] plan, through elections, to seize the three presidencies. These are mere dreams.”
“These sides are suffering a high state of tension because their great astrologer predicted that the Syrian regime will fall before the end of the year,” His Eminence added.

On the scheduled elections, Sheikh Qaouk highlighted: “March 14 has a firm decision in adopting the 1960s law and all its officials’ statements are just political maneuvers to pass time and deceive the Lebanese, especially the Christians.”
“This side seeks neither a real equality nor an effective partnership,” he stressed, and noted that “the equation of the Army, the people and the resistance is stronger than all electoral numbers and parliamentary seats.”

The Hizbullah top official also commented on the issue of displaced people from Syria. In this context, Sheikh Qaouk wondered: “Why don’t the Arabs spend some of their oil money to help the displaced people instead of buying weapons to fuel the burning fire?”
