Situation on Korean Peninsula at critical time: Zionist Kerry

US Secretary of State John Kerry, who is in China to discuss the soaring tensions on the Korean Peninsula, says the present situation in the region is at a “critical time.”
On Saturday, Kerry told Chinese President Xi Jinping in the capital, Beijing, that “this is obviously a critical time with some very challenging issues.”

Earlier in the day, Kerry flew to Beijing from South Korea on the second leg of his tour of Asia, in an effort to seek China’s influence to ease tensions on the Korean Peninsula.

The US secretary of state had discussed the inter-Korean tensions with South Korean officials on Friday.

“China has an enormous ability to help make a difference here, and I hope that, in our conversations when I get there, that we’ll be able to lay out a path ahead that can defuse this tension,” Kerry said while he was in South Korea.

He added that no other nation in the world “has as close a relationship or as significant an impact on the DPRK (North Korea) than China.”

The prospects of an outbreak of war in the Korean Peninsula have sharply risen following the participation of nuclear-capable US B-52s and B-2 stealth bombers in recent joint military drills with South Korea.

On March 30, North Korea declared that it is in a “state of war” with South Korea, warning that any provocation by Seoul and Washington will trigger an all-out nuclear war.

Pyongyang warned that if Washington and Seoul launched a preemptive attack, the conflict “will not be limited to a local war, but develop into an all-out war, a nuclear war.”

Washington has also deployed two guided-missile destroyers in the Pacific to waters off the Korean Peninsula.
