Turkish lira nosedives amid political uncertainty

The Turkish lira saw growth by an average of 7 percent for more than a decade. But now it’s been reduced to the worst performing currency among emerging markets. Political uncertainty coupled with rising violence across Turkey is behind the unprecedented devaluation of the Turkish currency.
