Supreme Leader’s Message to Pilgrims: US, Zionism Seek for Sedition among Muslims

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei stressed Thursday that the United States of America and the Zionism are seeking for sedition amongst different Muslim sects and for plotting conspiracies of intimidation of Shiites and Sunnis to prevent the unity of Muslim Ummah.

In his message to pilgrims, The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei said the US, Zionism and their allies in the region are making crises in Syria to draw the attention away from important issues in their countries and threats surrounding them.

His eminence noted that retaliation against the Syrian regime is due to its 30-year firm position against the usurped Zionists defending the resistance forces in Lebanon and Palestine, stressing that Iran stands by the side of the Syrian people and government.

“The internal war of Syria and the Muslim youth massacres against each other are crimes committed by the US , Zionism and their allied governments,” The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei said, adding that “we (Iran) support the Syrian people and oppose and foreign intervention in that country.”

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei’s message was delivered during the ceremonies of “Disavowal of Infidels” in Arafat Mountain, Mecca.
