Hezbollah Pounds Israeli Border Sites in “Unusual Day of Fighting”

Hezbollah kept up its operations against Israeli border sites in support of the resistance and people of Gaza, with Israeli media describing Sunday as “unusual day of fighting.”

Sunday witnessed at least six operations against Israeli sites along the border between Lebanon and the occupied Palestinian territories.

At 15:05, fighters of Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance targeted the Israeli site of Al-Marj with appropriate weapons, achieving a direct hit, the first statement released by Hezbollah’s Military Media read.

It added that the operation was “in support of our resilient Palestinian people in Gaza and in solidarity with their brave and honorable resistance.”

Later at 15:30, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted two buildings in the Menara settlement using appropriate weapons and directly hitting them, the second statement read.

It noted that the strike was “support of our steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and in solidarity with their brave and honorable resistance, as well as in response to the Israeli attacks that targeted villages and civilian homes, including the recent ones in Blida and Meis Al-Jabal.”

The third strike took place at 15:50, when Islamic Resistance fighters hit a gathering of Israeli soldiers south of Al-Abbad site, resulting in direct hits, the statement read.

Meanwhile at 15:50, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted Ruweisat Al-Alam site in the Lebanese occupied Shebaa Farms with missile weapons, achieving a direct hit, the fourth statement read.

At 16:00, the Islamic Resistance fighters fired missile weapons at Zibdeen Barracks in the Lebanese occupied Shebaa Farms, resulting in a direct hit, Hezbollah Military Media said in the fifth statement.

Ruweisat Al-Alam was targeted anew by Hezbollah missiles later on Sunday, the sixth statement read.

For its part, the Israeli media described Sunday as an unusual day of fighting on the Israeli northern front, reporting that sirens sounded near the border with Lebanon for at least 18 times.

Meanwhile on Sunday, Hezbollah mourned two fighters who fell All the Way to Al-Quds: Mohammad Jawdat Yahya (Ali Al-Hadi), from Al-Taybeh, and Abbas Ali Mabrouk (Abu Hadi), also from Al-Taybeh.
