Egyptian University Students Condemn Israeli Aggressions against Gaza

Hundreds of Egyptian university students condemned the Israeli crimes and aggressions against the Gaza Strip in a rally in Cairo on Sunday.

The angry students of Cairo’s Ain Shams University burnt the Zionist regime’s flag inside their campus, al-Youm al-Sabe news website reported.

In a similar protest rally held in Scotland today, hundreds of people took part in a rally in Edinburgh in support of the Palestinian people who have been under Israel’s brutal attacks from sea and air for the past five days.

Protesters carried banners and flags condemning the actions of Israel as they marched from the First Minister’s official residence, Bute House in Charlotte Square, to the Scottish Parliament, STV reported.

Over 70 Palestinians have been killed and more than 580 others injured in the new wave of Israeli aggressions against the Gaza Strip since Wednesday.

Israel triggered the current fighting by assassinating the military chief of the ruling Hamas group on Wednesday followed by dozens of airstrikes on Gaza.
