“Tahrir al-Sham terrorists attacked the Northeastern parts of Kafar Naboudeh in Northwestern Hama from the town of al-Qassabiyeh in Southern Idlib,” the Arabic-language service of Sputnik reported.
Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over past 24 hours.
Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army’s operations in provinces across Syria.
The Syrian army, supported by the air force, repelled a heavy offensive by Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay’at to regain control of the strategic town of Kafar Naboudeh in Northwestern Hama, killing at least 30 militants.
The Arabic-language service of Sputnik reported on Monday that Tahrir al-Sham terrorists attacked the Northeastern parts of Kafar Naboudeh in Northwestern Hama from the town of al-Qassabiyeh in Southern Idlib.
It added that the army forces repulsed the attack after heavy clashes and inflicting tens of tolls on the terrorists, most of them suicide attackers, and destroying two armored vehicles.
The Russian-Syrian air forces also pounded the terrorists’ supply lines from the town of Kafar Zita to al-Habit, Khan Sheikhoun and Kafar Nubl and al-Qasabiyeh between Hama and Idlib, inflicting heavy damage on them.
Based on other reports, the Syrian air force also smashed a military convoy of terrorists, consisting of 6 military vehicles, from the town of Khan Sheikhoun in Southern Idlib to the town of al-Habit.
The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper, meantime, reported that 3 groups of Jeish al-Izza terrorists were held captive during the liberation operations in Kafar Naboudeh, adding that the Syrian army troops advanced towards the town of al-Habit in Northern Hama after gaining back control of the region.
Also, the terrorist groups stationed in Northwestern Hama launched heavy rocket attacks against the residential areas in the town of al-Saqilbiyeh and its hospital in Northwestern Hama, wounding several civilians, including women, children and hospital personnel.
The Syrian Army in an ambush operation against Tahrir al-Sham regained control of Kafar Naboudeh town after killing tens of terrorists.
The Syrian Army won control over Kafar Naboudeh only a few days after it made strategic withdrawal from the key town.
The Damascus Army’s artillery and missile units launched heavy attacks on Tahrir al-Sham’s military positions and movements in Kafar Naboudeh in Northwestern Hama and took control of the town.
The Syrian army dispatched a large military convoy to Eastern Deir Ezzur to fully purge the Eastern Badiyeh (desert) region of Syria from the ISIL terrorists.
A Syrian military source said on Monday that the army has sent the convoy, consisting of tens of military vehicles and hundreds of forces, to the Eastern Badiyeh of Deir Ezzur to strengthen military positions.
Meantime, the Syrian army units on Sunday engaged in heavy clashes with the ISIL terrorists who had attacked several military points in the Northern Badiyeh of al-Sukhneh in Eastern Homs, killing a number of them and forcing others to retreat.
They also clashed with a group of ISIL militants in the Northeastern parts of Badiyeh al-Sukhneh who intended to attack the army’s military convoy, inflicting tolls on them and forcing others to flee the scene.
Also, the Syrian army’s artillery, missile and air forces targeted the ISIL moves near Badiyeh of Palmyra region, destroying several positions of the terrorists and inflicting heavy damages on them.
The Syrian army and air force started their military operations to purge ISIL terrorists from Eastern Badiyeh earlier this month.
The Syrian Army units engaged in fierce clashes with the remnants of the ISIL terrorist group in a region stretching in the Eastern Palmyra and the Roads linking Humeimem and T2 stations, the Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper quoted a military source as saying.
It, meantime, noted that the Syrian Army’s artillery units also targeted the movements and military positions of the terrorists in Palmyra’s Badiyeh region, inflicting heavy losses on terrorists.
Meantime, the Syrian air force in a series of attacks hit the ISIL’s movements in the surrounding areas of Abu Rajmin mountain in Northeastern Palmyra, the surroundings of Moayzeleh Dam, Avirez region in Eastern Homs to the joint borders with Deir Ezzur province, destroying several of their targets and killing a number of them.
Tens of Arab forces affiliated to the Syrian Democratic Forces went AWOL after a revolt by a regiment of hundreds of SDF forces in the Eastern parts of Hasaka province.
The Arabic-language al-Khabour news website reported on Sunday that a 300-strong regiment of Arab forces who had been forcefully recruited by the SDF disobeyed their commanders in the town of Tal Borak in Eastern Hasaka, calling for their freedom.
A large number of Kurdish forces surrounded the regiment, leading to heavy clashes between the two sides and leaving several of them wounded.
The report added that nearly 30 of the Arab forces of the regiment could escape, noting that a large number of SDF forces attacked the towns and villages near Qamishli with the aim of arresting the AWOLs.
