Locals were waving Syrian flags on the streets and chanting slogans in support of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

The re-establishment of government control of Dael is part of a week-long offensive in the Daraa province.

Dael was reconciled on Friday after the rebels and residents of the town agreed to reconcile with the government.
