General Staff of Armed Forces hails Iran’s deterrence power

The statement was issued on the eve of the Islamic Republic Day (April 1), 39 years ago on such a day, 98.2% of Iranian voter in a historic referendum voted for the establishment of the Islamic Revolution in the country.

Iran and the Iranian nation take pride in the major and dazzling achievements of the country in the defensive and military areas, the statement said.

April 1 symbolizes the victory of the impoverished people over the oppressors and is a day in which the Islamic Revolution was stabilized, the statement added.

It said that the increasing power the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Islamic Awakening, expansion of Islamic Resistance and reducing the power of the hegemonic powers which are undeniable realities of today’s world are the outcomes of the Islamic Revolution.
