Syria: Terrorists Withdraw from more Positions North of Dara’a Province
The Syrian government forces’ offensives against positions of al-Nusra Front near the strategic city of Kafr Shams ended in the killing or wounding of several terrorists and forced the remaining pockets of the militants to retreat from the farms in the Northeastern side of the city.
In relevant developments in the Southern province on Tuesday, the Syrian military forces pushed back an al-Nusra Front attack in the Southern districts of Dara’a, and drove them back under the heavy fire of their machineguns.
The terrorists of al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front stormed the government forces’ strongholds near Bilal al-Habashi mosque towards one of checkpoints of the army in Dara’a al-Balad, but the strong defense of the Syrian soldiers did not allow the terrorists to gain any military advantage in battlefield.
Al-Nusra left behind tens of the dead or wounded members and fled the battlefront to evade more casualties.
