Qom Seminary student conquer Lebanon’s highest mount

Hojjatol Islam Ali Sharifiyan Mehr, one of the Qom Seminary student mountaineer conquered Mount Al-Qurnat As-Sausa, Lebanon’s highest mountain, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Hojjatol Islam Sharifiyan Mehr could scale 3088 meters and carried a banner all the way to the summit in the memory of martyrs in Muslim countries.

The seminary student underscored that commemorating the name of Muslim martyrs and transferring the culture of Martyrdom to the young generation were of his main aims.

Hojjatol Islam Sharifiyan Mehr mentioned that he tried to take a step to provide a model for Muslim young generation in the realm of sport.

It is worthwhile noting that during the trip, the mountaineer honored the place of 4500 martyrs.
