Syrian Air Defense on high alert as zionist warplanes seen flying along Syrian-Lebanese border

Zionist warplanes were seen flying along the Syrian-Lebanese border, today, prompting the Syrian Air Defense to raise their alert levels.

According to a source in Damascus, the Israeli warplanes had flown several times over the disputed Sheba’a Farms and Mount Herman (Jabal Sheikh) region before turning towards Lebanon’s Nabatiyeh Governorate.

The occupation warplanes then flew several times over the southern Lebanese towns of Bint Jbeil, Nabatiyeh, and Marj’iyoun.

While it is not uncommon for Israel to violate Lebanese airspace, the recent conflict between the latter and Iran in Syria has left the Levant in a tense state.
