Sheikh Qassem cautions Israel against testing group’s restraint
Lebanon's Hezbollah Resistance Movement's Secretary General, Sheikh Naim Qassem, has issued a stern warning to Israel, cautioning the Israeli government against challenging the patience of the Resistance group.

He additionally urged the Lebanese government to adopt a resolute position against Israeli actions, emphasizing the need to address the ongoing breaches of the ceasefire agreement by Israel, which have reportedly exceeded hundreds of incidents.
In a significant development, the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel has been hailed as a victory for the Palestinian people and their resistance movement. A spokesperson commended the resilience and determination of the Resistance, which he said successfully thwarted Israel’s major objectives. The ceasefire brings an end to hostilities in the Gaza Strip, underscoring the unwavering resolve of the Palestinian nation and the achievements of the Resistance, despite Israel’s inability to fulfill its aims.
He further stated that internal conflicts within the Zionist regime are on the rise, adding that the ultimate resolution lies in the restoration of Palestine to its rightful owners.
The Israeli cabinet, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has given the green light to a ceasefire agreement with Hamas, following over 460 days of conflict in Gaza. The hostilities have resulted in the deaths of more than 46,788 Palestinians and left 110,453 injured, marking a significant toll in the prolonged warfare.
In a session extending over six hours, the Israeli cabinet ratified the ceasefire agreement in the early hours of Saturday, according to a succinct statement from Prime Minister Netanyahu’s office. The statement confirmed that the cabinet has sanctioned the framework for the return of prisoners, noting that the stipulations concerning their release are set to be implemented on Sunday.
