Syrian Army Continues to Push into Militant-Held Areas in Hama

The Syrian Arab army has conducted intensive strikes on militant-held areas in northern Hama in response to repeated breaches of de-escalation zone agreement by terrorists.

SANA reported that the army units operating in Hama’s northern countryside carried out operation against the al-Nusra-linked terrorist groups and attacked their supply lines in the towns of al-Sahriya and al-Qaroutiya in Jabal Shashabo in northern Hama.

The report added that terrorists suffered heavy losses.

On Monday, the army units thwarted an attack by al-Nusra Front terrorists on safe areas near al-Hamamiyat.

The terrorists also suffered heavy damages and many were forced to flee due the army attack.
