Syrian Army foils terrorists’ infiltration attempt from Lebanon

The Syrian army on Sunday eliminated a big number of terrorists in several provinces and destroyed their weapons and ammunition.

Syrian Army units kill terrorists in Ma’aloula

Army units continued its operations against armed terrorist groups in Ma’aloula town and the surrounding area of it, killing many terrorists and injuring others including armed terrorist groups’ leaders.

An official source told SANA reporter that the terrorists Mostafa Kahala, a terrorist group leader, and Abo Hadeel, the leader of “al-Farouq Battalion” in Yabroud were among the dead.

Terrorist, some of them Libyans, killed or injured in Lattakia countryside

Army units destroyed big amounts of weapons and ammunition loaded in cars in Borj al-Hayat, khan al-Joz and Saqeit al-Kart in Lattakia countryside, killing big numbers of terrorists, some of them are Libyans.

A military source told SANA that an army unit destroyed weapons and ammunition loaded in six cars for terrorists in Khan al-Joz and killed a number of terrorists including the Libyans Abdul Salam al-Sallal, Ahmad Abo Sabra and Hammoud al-Khalaf.

The source added that terrorists’ dens and weapons and ammunition loaded in a car were destroyed, many terrorists were killed in Saqeit al-Kart village including the terrorists Maher al-Shaddad and Ahmad Sheikh Ahmad.

The source pointed out that an army unit killed members of an armed terrorist groups and destroyed two cars loaded with weapons in Borj al-Hayat village.

In Homs, a unit of the armed forces and the border guard personnel foiled an armed terrorist group’s attempt to infiltrate from the Lebanese land into Talkalakh countryside , inflicting heavy losses upon its members.

An official source told SANA reporter that all members of the armed terrorist group were killed while they were trying to infiltrate across Halat and Eyoun al-Shaara sites in Talkalakh, while the others fled into Lebanon.

The source added that an army unit killed a number of terrorists and destroyed cars loaded with weapons and ammunition in Housh Shamsi and Housh Abaza in al-Sha’en in Homs countryside.

Units of the armed forces destroyed 9 cars loaded with huge amounts of weapons and ammunition in the villages of Burj al-Hayat, Khan al-jouz, Sakiet al-Kart in Lattakia countryside.

The army killed a number of terrorists among then terrorists of Libyan nationality.
