Syrian Army restores all lost points in Golan Heights

The Syrian Arab Army’s 90th Brigade of the 9th Armored Division, backed by Fouj Al-Joulan (Golani Regiment) and Liwaa Suqour Al-Quneitra (Quneitra Hawks Brigade), launched a counter-assault against the jihadist rebels in the Golan Heights on Monday, targeting the jihadist-controlled hilltop of Tal Al-Hamariyah.

According to a military source in the nearby town of Hader, the Syrian Armed Forces recaptured all points they lost to the jihadist rebels over the weekend, including Tal Al-Hamariyah and the hilltops surrounding it.

On Sunday, the Syrian Armed Forces managed to kill over 30 jihadist rebels in the Golan Heights, as they forestalled the latter’s progress to the key town of Hader.

The jihadist rebels have officially retreated from all the sites they attack over the weekend, marking the end of their large-scale offensive in the Golan Heights of Al-Quneitra.
