Syrian Army vehicles patrol borders with Jordan

Years after losing control of the southern borders to rebel groups, the Syrian Army has finally managed to deploy its forces along the frontiers with Jordan as part of the wider Daraa offensive.

Earlier today, the government troops have recaptured up to 27 border outposts (point 62 until point 36), all located to the west of the recently-liberated Nassib border crossing.

This was achieved after a short battle with militants who fled their points leaving behind armories, as well as medical and food supplies.

With the recapture of Nassib border crossing earlier this week, the entire Damascus-Amman highway has been full secured; paving the way to reactivate trade between the two countries.
