Leader of Ummah and Oppressed People:”US inviting Iran for talks, trickery”

US inviting Iran for talks
The Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei has said those rejoice in proposal by the US for negotiations are either naïve or mal-intentioned.
Addressing the meeting of Army Air Force commanders and personnel today morning, the Supreme Leader pointed to wide difference between Iran’s place in 34 years ago and that today.

“During these three decades, Iranian nation taught other nations that standing against foreign powers are possible as well as necessary,” he added.

“And with trusting God, independent and pioneer movement would be continued,” he asserted.

The Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei pointed to statements by US officials on intensifying sanctions to incite confrontation between the Islamic system and people. “Our people have always answered this kind of talks, especially in 22nd of Bahman (the day of Revolution’s victory), and they will do the same this year as well,” the Leader said.

The Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei believed insight and awakening as key to people’s success against foreign powers. “Our people would outsmart US and Zionists in every movement with having insight and awakening, and avoid errors in their behavior, and this reality is a great national goodness,” said the Leader.

The Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei also pointed to US officials’ statements that the ball then was in Iran’s ground, and asserted that “the ball is in your [US] ground, though, since you should answer whether talking about negotiations, and mounting pressure and threat at the same time makes sense.”

“Negotiations are for proving your good will, you have done tens of actions based on your malevolence, and then in [your] words, say ‘negotiation!’” he added.

“Could Iranian people believe that you have good will?” asked the Supreme Leader, providing the reasons for proposing negotiation by US officials as “of course we understand their need to a negotiation, since they have failed in their policies on Middle East, and they need to come up with a winning card to alleviate the effect of the failure.”

The Supreme Leader of the Revolution pointed to US proposal for negotiations in 4 years ago. “At that time, we said that we would not have prejudgment, and would wait for their next step. But during 4 years, we have seen nothing positive from them, other than that they have continued conspiracies, provided help for Iran’s internal opposition’s provocation of unrest, and assassinated Iranian nuclear scientists,” asserted the Leader.

The Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei asserted that “I am not diplomat, I am Revolutionary, and would say my words frankly and honestly. You [Americans] take arms before the Iranians and say that you want to negotiate, but Iranian people would not be intimidated by this stuff.”

Organizing coup d’état of 1953 against Dr. Mossadegh when he trusted the Americans, and supporting Pahlavi despotic and tyrannical regime was two examples the Supreme Leader cited as revealing US behavior on Iranians. “After the Revolution, in some moments, our officials trusted US officials out of optimism, but in turn, they called Iran ‘axis of evil,’ and insulted the Iranian nation,” added the Leader.

“With this record, and with realities obvious, I emphasize that negotiations and pressure are different ways, and Iranian nation would not accept negotiations under pressure,” pointed out the Leader, adding that “everyone who wants to establish US domination, and scarifies his country’s interests for buying American satisfaction, the nation would not leave him free, and if I personally move against the public will, people would object.”

In part of his speech, the Supreme Leader assessed the developing of fighter jets, aircrafts, and other advanced air facilities by the Army Air Force as flourishing great capabilities, love, and innovations across the country, especially of armed forces personnel, adding that “you have vanquished the propaganda by the dominant powers on the frailty of nations to stand on their own feet.”
