IRGC Aerospace Commander: Iran Among Drone, Pin-Pointing Missile Powers in World

Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh underlined Iran’s high capability in production of different military equipment, and said that his country stands among the world's top states manufacturing drones and precision-striking missiles.

“We are among the top powers in the field of drones and pin-pointing missiles,” Brigadier General Hajizadeh said on Wednesday, and added that his country is also standing among the “20 best producers of radar system” in the world.

“In the space field, we put satellite into orbit in less than three years,” he continued.

The IRGC commander stated that Iran has achieved favorable success in the fields of university and defense cooperation, noting that his country has defeated the enemy from a distance of more than a thousand kilometers with artificial intelligence.

“Iran is under the obligation of doing work and research in the field of space,” the senior military official underscored.

Elsewher in his remarks, Hajizadeh said that “the situation in the region is very favorable”, and added that Iran has successfully passed a challenging decade with the resourcefulness of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei in pursuing the strategy of active resistance.

“The enemies of Iran now have admitted that the maximum pressure campaign has failed and Tehran has turned into an undisputed power,” he continued.

The Islamic Republic’s military doctrine holds that the country’s armed capability solely serves defensive purposes.

Iranian military experts and technicians have in recent years made substantial headway in manufacturing a broad range of indigenous equipment, making the armed forces self-sufficient in the weaponry sphere.

Iranian officials have repeatedly stressed that the country will not hesitate to boost its military capabilities, including its missile and drone power, which are entirely meant for defense, and that Iran’s defense capabilities will never be subject to negotiation.
