The Syrian military has send more reinforcements to the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate, as thy prepare to launch their upcoming offensive.
According to a military source in Latakia, the Syrian Arab Army’s Republican Guard and 4th Division sent reinforcements to the northern countryside of Hama from the Damascus and Daraa governorates.
Furthermore, reinforcements from the National Defense Forces (NDF) also made their way from southern Syria to the Hama and Latakia governorates for the scheduled offensives.
More reinforcements are expected to make their way to the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate after they conclude their operations against the Islamic State (ISIS) in the Al-Sweida countryside.
The Syrian Arab Army has already liberated most of the Islamic State pocket, but the terrorist group has refused to surrender their last positions along the Al-Safa Canyon.
Once this operation is done, the Syrian Arab Army’s 3rd, 10th, and 15th divisions should be freed up, along with more units from the National Defense Forces and Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP).
