Syrian nation vents anger against armed terrorists

The people of Syria have staged nationwide demonstrations in this country in condemnation of the terrorist operations of gunmen.

According to IRIB World Service, citing AFP, these demonstrations were held on Friday, while the demonstrators expressed sympathy with the victims of unrests in the city of Homs.
Based on this report, the demonstrators in Damascus also announced their preparedness to counter the armed rebels.
Terrorist outfits, supported by Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, the US, and France have stirred unrests in a number of Syrian cities as of March 2011, with the intention of toppling the popular government of the Syrian President Bashar Assad. President Assad’s administration is the most important factor behind steadfastness against the Zionist regime’s expansionist policies in the region.
