Syrian parliament speaker in Tehran

Syrian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Jihad al-Laham, heading a delegation, arrived in Tehran on Tuesday to review issues of mutual interests with senior Iranian officials.

The Syrian speaker’s visit is taking place at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart Ali Larijani.

During his four-day stay, Jihad al-Laham would hold talks with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi, Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Larijani and his counterpart, Ali Larijani.

Several issues of mutual interests including mutual ties as well as the latest regional and international developments would be discussed by the two sides.
