Iran Declares Readiness for All Scenarios, Says IRGC Chief Amid Rising Tensions
The chief commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has declared the nation's full readiness to respond to any aggressive actions, as threats of military intervention continue to escalate.
Major General Hossein Salami commented on Thursday following reports indicating that the United States has heightened security measures for its embassies and military installations across West Asia, driven by concerns over a prospective Israeli attack on Iran.
The speaker asserted their preparedness in the face of potential military threats, stating that they remain fully equipped to handle any scenarios, situations, or circumstances.
“We are seasoned by conflict and possess extensive experience. We have fortified our capabilities and devised a comprehensive strategy. Our surveillance of the enemy’s forces is thorough, and we have diligently rehearsed our operational plans.”
He asserted that the adversary believes it can engage Iran similarly to how it confronts the oppressed Palestinians in Gaza, who remain defenseless and under Israeli blockade.
The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a stern warning to adversaries, advising them to reconsider any potential miscalculations and to carefully contemplate the consequences of their actions.
He emphasized that they are well-prepared, highlighting that this has been their ongoing reality for years, as readiness for conflict of any magnitude is their professional obligation and responsibility.
Salami has stated that adversaries are attempting to impose political isolation on Iran, leveraging sanctions to apply pressure. However, he emphasized Iran’s significant influence, asserting that the nation cannot be excluded from regional and global dynamics.
He highlighted Iran’s intelligence operation targeting Israel, which led to the procurement and transfer of a substantial collection of strategic and sensitive documents regarding Israel’s covert nuclear program from the occupied territories to the Islamic Republic.
He stated that the operation demonstrated the “permeable and threadbare” nature of the Zionist regime’s security system, highlighting Iran’s superiority in intelligence capabilities.
He remarked that this was another demonstration of triumph in the realm of intelligence warfare.
