Terrorist ISIL Recruitment Video Indicates Britain’s Involvement in Iraq, Syria Crises

The British daily, Telegraph, reported that three British nationals have issued a video, showing that the country’s terrorists are fighting in Syria and Iraq.

According to the daily, in a chilling new recruitment video for the terrorist Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), the men urge their fellow countrymen to “answer the call” for fight in Syria and Iraq and to “fight for Allah”, while one claims “you are going to die anyway”.

Posted online on Thursday, they also claim they are about to cross the border from Syria into Iraq to fight there – the clearest indication yet that Britons are involved in the renewed Iraqi civil conflict.

The professionally shot 13-minute video, entitled “There is no life without Jihad”, has been broadcast by the ISIL and coincides with a fresh propaganda campaign by the violent fanatics.

The three Britons are joined by two Australians and other fighters in Syria as they sit in a circle in combat gear and surrounded by AK47 rifles.

Calling himself Abu Muthanna al Yemeni, one of the Britons said, “I do not know anyone who has as many mujahideen as we do. We go to Iraq in a few days to fight there. We will even go to Jordan and Lebanon.”

Another Briton, Abu Dujana al Hindi said, “A message to the brothers who have stayed behind. You have to ask yourself what prevents you from joining the ranks of the mujahideen? What prevents you from obtaining martyrdom? You are going to die anyway.”

It is estimated up to 450 Britons are among the ranks of the ISIL, either in Syria or Iraq.
