Terrorists implement mandatory curfew in Idlib amid Syrian Army’s ongoing security operation

The jihadist rebels in the southern countryside of the Idlib Governorate have reportedly implemented a mandatory curfew for all residents in this area of the province.

According to opposition social media activists in the area, the curfew was implemented by the jihadist rebels in the following towns: Ma’arat Al-Nu’man, Tamanah, Khuwayn, Halbeh, Abu Habbeh, Kafr Yassine, Babulin, and at least a dozen more localities.

The purpose of this curfew is due Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s ongoing security operations that are targeting residents and rebels wanting reconciliation with the government.

Thus far, Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and their allies have reportedly arrested tens of residents of southern Idlib, accusing them of being government supporters.

Due to the speed at which the Daraa Governorate fell to the Syrian Arab Army, the jihadist rebels allegedly want to ensure that no one will betray them and reconcile with the government.
