Terrorists in Syria, Including Leader of So-Called al-Mujahideen Battalion, Killed. Gunmen Gatherings Destroyed


Military units on Monday killed several terrorists and seized their weapons during an operation carried out against their gatherings in al-Dhyabiyeh town in Damascus countryside.

An official source told SANA reporter that leader of the so-called “al-Mujahideen Battalion,” Ghassab al-Manzouri, nicknamed al-Zarkawi, was killed during the operation, in addition to three other terrorists.

An official source told SANA that the armed forces carried out two qualitative operations against terrorists’ gatherings in al-Dhyabiyeh and killed and injured a number of terrorists affiliated to Abu Hassan terrorist group.

A unit of the Armed Forces Eliminated a number of terrorists in bait Sahim and Akraba towns in Damascus countryside, including Asaad Hamza and Anas Okla.

Meanwhile, a unit of the Armed Forces eliminated an armed terrorist group in Harasta and Douma farms in Damascus countryside, including Rami al-Ahmad, Mohammad Abu-Keffeh, Ziad Basaleh, Mohammad Rijleh and Mohammad al-Zein.

the source added that a unit of the Armed Forces destroyed a den of an armed terrorist group in Hijjira town and killed all terrorists inside, including Ahmad Qasheh, Salah al-Hanash, Dibo Sadka, Khaled Balta and Mohammad Ghazal.

Another unit of the Armed Forces eliminated leaders of armed terrorist groups in Irbin town, including terrorist Abu Adnan, and destroyed cars equipped with heavy machineguns.

Competent Authorities Seize Weapons, Explosives in King Faissal Street in Damascus

The competent authorities seized a warehouse containing weapons, ammunitions and explosives in a basement that terrorists used for storing food at King Faissal Street in Damascus.

An official source told SANA that the seized weapons were hidden in a fuel tank in the warehouse, including 33 homemade missiles, machineguns, pistols, night-vision binoculars, sniper rifles and materials for manufacturing explosive devices.

Terrorists Killed in Car Bomb Blast in Aleppo

A car blew up when terrorists were loading it with explosives in Bustan al-Qasr area in Aleppo city. All the terrorists got killed or injured in the blast.

An official source told SANA that 40 terrorists were killed in the explosion and several others were injured.

The Armed Forces Eliminate Terrorists in Aleppo, Destroy their Dens and Criminal Tools

The Armed Forces continued their qualitative operations against the armed terrorist groups and destroyed a number of their sites and dens in Aleppo city and countryside.

An official source told SANA reporter that the Armed Forces carried out a series of qualitative operations and destroyed terrorist sites in al-Sfeira area.

The source added that a number of terrorists were eliminated in Hreitan, Khan Touman and in al-Oweijeh areas.

The source pointed out that units eliminated terrorists and destroyed their sites in Bustan al-Qasr, al-Sukari, al-Mashhad and al-Zubaidieh areas in Aleppo.

In the old city of Aleppo, units of the Armed Forces eliminated a number of terrorists in al-Bandara, Bab Antakia and near al-Othman Mosque.

The Armed Forces eliminated members of an armed terrorist group and seized their weapons, including PKC machineguns and RPG launchers, in al-Sfeira in Aleppo countryside.

Armed Forces Kill Terrorists in Zamalka, Damascus Countryside

A unit of the armed forces killed and injured a number of terrorists in Zamalka, al-Ghouta al-Sharqieh in Damascus countryside.

An official source told SANA that a number of the most wanted terrorists were killed in the operation, among them the leader of the so-called ”Military Council” in Zamalka. The source added that two cars equipped with heavy machineguns were destroyed, with the terrorists, weapons and ammunition inside.

The army eliminated scores of terrorists and seized their weapons in Hijjera.

An official source told SANA reporter that terrorists Omar al-Lwisi, Burhan Abu Aysha and Ahmad Qarqoush were identified among the dead.

The source added that a factory for making IEDs and missiles was also destroyed in the area.

In al-Akshak in Hijjera, an army unit clashed with and killed a number of terrorists and destroyed a Mortar, the source said.

Another army unit eliminated a number of terrorists in Erbeen town, Damascus countryside, and destroyed their vehicles.

An official source told SANA reporter that four terrorists, who were perpetrating killing, sabotaging and looting acts, were killed in Ghber yard in the town.

The Armed Forces destroyed a warehouse for weapons and ammunition used by the terrorists in their attacks and crimes in al-Huseinyeh in Damascus Countryside.

An official source told SANA reporter that a vehicle equipped with a heavy machinegun was also destroyed and the terrorists in it were killed.

The source added that several terrorists’ hideouts in the areas were destroyed.

Two Terrorists’ Gatherings Destroyed in Homs Countryside

Military units destroyed two terrorists’ gatherings near al-Samaalil and Burj Qai towns in Homs countryside last night, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

An official source informed SANA reporter that a mortar launcher, used in attacking citizens and law enforcement members was destroyed in addition to a DShK machinegun and a big amount of ammunition.

He added that several terrorists were killed and others were injured during the operation.

The bodies of the terrorists Mounir Harmoush, Wissam Saour and Zahi Bakkar were identified among the dead.

In a relevant context, authorities seized 200 explosive devices lauded in a bus in Homs city.

An official source told SANA reporter that each device weighs a kilo and stuffed with high explosives.

Authorities Eliminate Terrorists in Daraa

Authorities clashed with and eliminated scores of terrorists affiliated to al-Qaeda-linked Jabhat-al-Nusra in the area of al-Mismyeh in Daraa northern countryside and confiscated machineguns, automatic rifles, and Israeli-made Lau missiles.

SANA reporter quoted a source in the province as saying that the terrorists Issa Ibrahim al-Jassem, Qassem Mohammad Shreida and Mohammad Anwar al-Abdullah were identified among the dead.

The source added that the competent authorities pursued an armed terrorist group on al-Sad Road in Daraa al-Balad, killing and injuring its members, and confiscated their weapons and ammunition.

The terrorists Munib Abdul-Jalil Hariri, Ali al-Shamlouni, Ramez Qattash, Mohammad Jawad Yousef and Ahmad al-Abboud were identified among the dead.

40 terrorists were killed when a car which they were loading with explosives blew up in Bustan al-Basha area in Aleppo city.
