The Leader of Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Khamenei: “US officials are unreliable, illogical and dishonest”

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyed Ali Khamenei, has said that the American officials are unreliable, illogical, and dishonest.

According to IRIB World Service, in a meeting with the senior officials of the sacred Islamic system on Sunday afternoon, the Leader of Islamic Revolution referred to the recent allegations of the US officials about negotiations with Iran, noting that: “I said in the beginning of this year that I was not optimistic about talks with US although I haven’t banned talks on particular issues such as Iraq in the previous years.”

The Supreme Leader added: “The stance adopted by the US officials in the recent few months once again confirmed the need to be skeptical toward them.”

In further remarks, the Leader underlined that: “We have always believed in interaction with the world. But, the important point in interaction with the world is perception of the other party and its goals.”
The Leader went on to say that: “In the interaction with the world, we should not forget the conduct of our enemies.”

Furthermore, the Leader reminded that: “The Global Arrogance, a number of Western officials and a few weak officials of regional governments have shaped a wide front against the Iranian nation which has never been seen before against any country.”

In a macro view toward the country, the Leader of Islamic Revolution focused on seven facts.

The distinguished geographical position; the honorable history and ancient, deep-rooted civilization; natural wealth and resources, and prominent and major human talents were three initial facts that the Leader of Ummah referred to.

In elaboration of the 4th fact, the Leader reiterated that: “In the recent two or three centuries, Iran has been dealt heavy blows from dictatorship and foreign cultural and political infiltration and invasion, which should be taken into consideration in any macro analysis of conditions and circumstances.”

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyed Ali Khamenei mentioned the national awakening throughout the Constitutional Movement, the movement for nationalization of Iran’s oil industry and the Islamic Revolution as another fact, noting that the national uprising throughout the Constitutional Movement and the movement for nationalization of Iran’s oil industry failed. But, the victory of Islamic Revolution and establishment of the sacred Islamic system was a crushing response to the blows dealt by foreign invasion on Iran.

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyed Ali Khamenei further mentioned the experience of a victorious movement in different political, economic, scientific, and cultural realms as the 6th fact which should be considered in a macro outlook toward the country.

The Supreme Leader added: “Astonishing scientific progress; irrefutable influence on regional and global topics of importance; astounding progress in construction and development; and a cultural U-turn compared to the pre-revolution era are some of the signs of the victorious movement in the recent thirty years.”

Furthermore, the Imam Khamenei underscored that the issue of economy and continuation of scientific developments should be the top priorities of all of the officials.

The Supreme Leader also referred to consecutive victories of the Iranian nation, adding that the last divine blessing has been the creation of a political epic throughout the presidential elections; the outcomes of which will gradually be manifested in different domains.

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyed Ali Khamenei referred to religious democracy as one of the major successes of the domestic politics.

The Supreme Leader also emphasized on the indomitable resolve of people and officials in dealing with problems and enmities, while reminding that the officials should not be shaken in the face of enmities in the political, and economic scenes.

Prior to the remarks of the Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyed Ali Khamenei, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad presented a detailed report on the eight-year performance of the government in different fields.
