The number of fatalities in Gaza has escalated to 43,469
The Gaza Health Ministry reported on Thursday that the occupation forces have carried out six separate atrocities across various locations in the Gaza Strip within the last 24 hours. These incidents have resulted in the deaths and injuries of at least 292 civilians. Additionally, numerous individuals remain unaccounted for, either trapped beneath the debris of destroyed structures or located on the streets.
The Gaza Health Ministry reported on Thursday that the Israeli military has perpetrated six attacks in various regions of the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours. These incidents resulted in the deaths and injuries of at least 292 civilians. Additionally, numerous victims are believed to remain trapped beneath the debris of demolished structures or are found on the streets.
In an official statement, the Ministry of Health reported that over the past 24 hours, Israeli military operations in various parts of Gaza have resulted in significant civilian casualties. At least 78 individuals have been confirmed dead, while 214 injured persons have been taken to hospitals for medical treatment.
The health ministry reported that the death toll from Israeli bombardments and shooting incidents, which began on October 7 of the previous year, has risen to 43,469. Additionally, the number of individuals injured in these events has increased to 102,561.
The Gaza Strip has experienced intense bombardment following the initiation of a cross-border operation by Hamas’s military arm, the al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7, 2023.
In addition to the significant loss of life and widespread displacement, the 2.3 million residents of Gaza are facing severe shortages of essential supplies, including food, fuel, water, and medical provisions. This crisis has been exacerbated by a stringent Israeli blockade and extensive damage to infrastructure and facilities.
