The Syrian Army Kills Terrorist Leaders, Destroys Dens and Vehicles

An army unit on Wednesday targeted terrorists’ gatherings and hideouts in the town of al-Rihanyeh in Lattakia countryside and inflicted heavy losses upon them.

SANA reporter quoted a source in the province as saying that scores of terrorists were killed in the operation, adding that terrorists Abdul-Salam Akko, Burhan Ahmad, Molla Najeeb, Husam al-Jubairi and Abi Talha were identified among the dead.

The source said that a number of the killed terrorists were of non-Syrian nationalities, adding that two pick-up trucks were also destroyed.

Terrorists Gatherings Destroyed, Leaders Killed in Damascus Countryside

Meanwhile, units of the armed forces continued pursuing terrorist groups in the areas of Jouber, Adra and al-Eteibeh in Damascus Countryside.

An official source told SANA reporter that army units clashed with terrorist groups around the areas of al-Barlaman roundabout, Taibeh Mosque and the Communications Department Building in Jouber, killing many of their members.

Terrorist Ahmad Tayara, leader of a terrorist group, and terrorists Ziyad al-Rifaei and Abo Jawdat, were identified among the dead.

The source noted that a number of terrorists’ gatherings were destroyed in the area of new Adra and its surrounding where several terrorists were killed, including Bashir Eibour, Mohammad al-Najjar and Munzir al-Rheibani.

In the same context, an army unit carried out a special operation in which it destroyed a number of vehicles for terrorists, including three cars used in terrorist attacks, in al-Eteibeh town.

Several terrorists were killed in the operation, including Amjad Walid and Omar Wafa, leaders of two terrorist groups.

In Hejjera, a terrorist hideout along with the weapons and munitions inside it was destroyed and a number of terrorists were eliminated including Imad Ajaj, Ahmad al-Mashtouli, and Fuad al-Rutba, a non-Syrian.

An Army unit carried out a special operation targeting a terrorist hideout in al-Hajar al-Aswad, killing a number of terrorists and injruign others including Mohammad Shihab who led one of the terrorist groups and Mousa al-Houri.

Army units continued pursuing remnants of terrorist groups in Daraya in the perimeter of Sayyeda Sukaina shrine and the railroad, killing a number of them.

Another unit destroyed a convoy of cars transporting terrorists, weapons and munitions in Qara area.

Vehicles and Dens for Jabhat al-Nusra Terrorists Destroyed in Deir Ezzor

An army unit clashed with terrorists in the neighborhoods of al-Sinaeh and Sheikh Yasin in the city of Deir Ezzor, killing and injuring many of them.

SANA reporter quoted an official source as saying that terrorists Anas al-Sheikh and Obeida Zayada al-Alkeh were identified among the dead, in addition to terrorist Ahmad Hussein Abdul-Rahman, leader of a so-called “Al-Khadraa Battalion” terrorist group.

The source mentioned that units of the armed forces destroyed two cars, a motorcycle and several dens for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in al-Hweiqeh and al-Jbeileh neighborhoods.

The source told SANA reporter that an army unit eliminated five terrorists in a car who had been committing acts of killing and looting in Haqleh village in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, among them terrorist Ayman al-Zoubi was identified.

Army Destroys Terrorist Hideouts in Idleb and Hama Provinces

Armed Forces units eliminated a number of terrorists and eliminated others in Bakfaloun, northeast of Sermin, Maartamsrin, south kafroma, and Majdalia in Idleb countryside.

Other units destroyed terrorist gatherings in Jisr al-Shughour, Sheikh Sindyan, Hallouz, al-Shagher, and Khirbet al-Jouz, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others.

An Army unit eliminated a terrorist group in the town of Harbanfaseh southwest of Hama, while other units eliminated terrorists near al-Nasiriye hill west of Tibet al-Imam.

An attempt by terrorist to detonate an explosive device weighing 40 kilograms was foiled in al-Hader area in Hama city.

Armed Forces Continue Operations against Terrorists in Aleppo

Units of the Armed Forces continued their operations against dens and gatherings of the armed terrorist groups in Aleppo city and countryside, eliminating scores of terrorists.

An official source told SANA reporter that a unit of the Armed Forces targeted terrorist gatherings in Khan Touman and Khan al-Assal.

Another unit of the Armed Forces clashed with an armed terrorist group in Kweiris area and eliminated several terrorists.

The source added that units of the Armed Forces destroyed a number of terrorist dens in Aleppo city.

Armed Forces Pursue Terrorists in Homs

Units of the Armed Forces continued pursuing the armed terrorist groups in Homs city and countryside and destroyed a number of dens and terrorists’ vehicles.

An official source told SANA reporter that units of the Armed Forces destroyed a number of armed terrorist groups’ dens in al-Rastan and al-Hola areas in Homs
countryside.

The Armed Forces seized amounts of weapons and ammunition in Baba Amro.

The Armed Forces destroyed two cars equipped with DShK machineguns in al- Furuklus town.
