Slaughterer Zionist Israeli forces detained 10 Palestinians in the Southern West Bank overnight Wednesday, an army spokesman said, while locals said three people were arrested at dawn in the North.

An Israeli military spokesman said 10 people were detained in raids around Hebron, Bethlehem and Ramallah.

Forces detained Palestinians in Dura, Yatta, Budrus, Safa, Marah Rabah, Hebron and Dharariya, he told Ma’an. They were taken for security questioning, he said.

The Ahrar prisoners center said Sheikh Hussein Amro, a Hamas leader, was detained in Dura. The 65-year-old had been detained five times before and spent four years in Israeli jails, center director Foad al-Khuffash said.

In Yatta, the local popular committee said 42-year-old Jibril Mopusa al-Emour was detained after Israeli soldiers raided his home. Al-Emour’s son was detained 10 days ago, committee coordinator Ratib al-Jbour said.

Meanwhile, locals said Israeli forces raided Awarta village in the Northern West Bank.

Soldiers detained Muhammad Qawariq, 21, Luay Qawariq, 23, and Muhammad Awwad, 21, in raids on their homes, witnesses said.

The Israeli military spokesman was not immediately familiar with the raid in Awarta.
