Top Iranian General Claims Dominance Over US and Israel
Iran's Armed Forces Chief of Staff has declared that Iran exerted its influence over the United States and Israel during the recent 12-day military conflict, issuing a warning that both nations are under stringent observation.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi asserted that the Israeli regime, backed by the United States, launched an assault on Iran, only to be met with a forceful retaliation from the Iranian Armed Forces.
He stated that despite extensive media censorship by the Israeli authorities, existing evidence verifies that significant military and research facilities within the occupied territories under Israeli control were decimated.
Iranian representatives have consistently maintained that while the nation does not initiate conflicts, it is prepared to conclude them if provoked. They highlighted this stance following a recent 12-day conflict attributed to initiation by the Zionist regime, with involvement from the United States. During this period, Western entities, including NATO, allegedly provided crucial intelligence, logistical, and operational support.
Iran has effectively neutralized the adversary’s military capabilities with its domestically developed warfare technology. Officials noted that the previously touted “impenetrable” multilayered air defenses were vulnerable against the missile and drone prowess crafted by Iran. Furthermore, it was highlighted that residents in the contested region of Palestine found no shelter, not even within bunkers, from these advancements.
He claimed that despite the US launching attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities in an effort to support the Israeli regime, Iran’s retaliatory strike on the al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar demonstrated the unwavering determination of the Iranian Armed Forces. Consequently, through certain regional intermediaries, the US allegedly began to seek an end to the conflict, ultimately succumbing to the will of the Islamic Republic.
He issued another warning, stating that Iran is closely monitoring its adversaries. If these adversaries repeat what he called their strategic missteps, they will be consigned to “the black holes of history.”
On June 13, Israeli forces launched an attack on Iran, resulting in the deaths of multiple military personnel, scientific figures, and civilians. In retaliation, Iran’s military delivered significant counterstrikes against Israeli targets. Following these events, the United States conducted strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities, asserting that they had been entirely demolished.
Several nations have expressed strong disapproval of the act, labeling it a breach of international law and the UN Charter. In retaliation, Iran initiated an offensive against the US al-Udeid airbase in Qatar, resulting in substantial damage. Subsequently, the US reached out with requests for a ceasefire.
