Iraqi forces liberate 4 villages to the north of Mosul

Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Yarallah, the commander of the Nineveh Liberation Operation, said in a press statement on Saturday that the 16th Infantry Division of the Army had recaptured the villages of Gara Tepe, Kuri Ghariban, al-Darawish and Abu Jarbouah Al-Sumaria news reported.

Yarallah highlighted that the anti-ISIS fighters inflicted huge losses on the terrorist group.

Meanwhile, the Iraqi Special Operations Forces who are spearheading operations in Mosul city, have managed to liberate the al-Kafa’at neighborhood in eastern Mosul on Saturday.
